Dr. Santhi Datuk Puvanarajah began her career with the Malaysian Health Service after graduating with a MBBS degree (University of Madras, India). Following her MRCP (UK) qualification, she proceeded to specialize in Neurology with training at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Oxford, United Kingdom. She is currently a Consultant Neurologist at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital with interests in Neuromuscular Diseases and Movement Disorders. Dr. Santhi is the Vice President of the Malaysian Society of Neurosciences (MSN).
